Simon Wren Photography: welcome

Simon Wren Photography is an amateur photographer in the Peterborough area. With a friendly, relaxed, and informal approach models are treated with respect and courtesy at all times, and new or inexperienced models will quickly feel comfortable and enjoy their photo shoot.

This website aims to answer any questions which perspective models may have, give an idea of how I work, and act as a contact point for people wishing to contact me. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, and if you're an aspiring model, want some good quality photographs for your social networking site, or just want to give it a go let's shoot.

Studio

I am fortunate to have an excellent hire studio facility close to where I live which I try to use about once a month. The studio is geared up for glamour photography with a large infinity cove, and various sets including French dresser, bed, workshop and more. There is also a private changing room for models, and the owner makes a good cuppa. I generally only use the studio with models I have previously worked with as I have been let down in the past and had to pay studio fees for models who have not turned up and not had the decency to even bother letting me know.

Location

My perferred choice as I enjoy working with natural light, there are a number of locations in my local area which are ideal for photography. These vary in the type of photograph which can be taken, with some suited to fashion shoots, while others are secluded enough to be used for topless and nude poses. I'm also happy to travel to the Norfolk, Suffolk or Lincolnshire coasts for beach shoots, and other areas if the locations sounds interesting.
